We realize we’re extremely lucky to live in the Sea to Sky Corridor, surrounded by incredible nature, fresh air and a high standard of living. Our initiative was created as a way to show our appreciation for our good fortune and to simply give back to those who may need a little support.
Maven Collective Marketing donates to local, national and international organizations who are all endeavouring to make the world a better place for all.
In 2019, six organizations were selected for the annual Maven Collective Marketing Paying It Forward Initiative (one more than last year, woop!). We’ve listed them below and have given a little description about the fantastic work these worthy causes do:
Connexions North Shore Society
Nature Conservancy of Canada
Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) works to protect Canada’s most precious natural environments and biological diversity. Their mission is to lead and inspire others to join them in creating a legacy for future generations through conservation across the whole of Canada.
Charity Water
Fistula Foundation
Squamish Helping Hands
Since 2006, Squamish Helping Hands has been providing food and shelter programs within the Sea to Sky communities. Their vision is to end homelessness and hunger in our community. Their great work provides participants with individualized support from nurses, mental health professionals to caseworkers who assist them in getting back on their feet.
Plan International Canada - Gifts of Hope
Plan International Canada is “a member of a global organization dedicated to advancing children’s rights and equality for girls.” In 2019, the Maven Collective Marketing Paying It Forward Initiative donated to many ‘Gifts of Hope’. These are essentially tangible goods and vital services, that make a real difference to those most in need around the world.
